Game Boy Has anyone here ever owned a Gameboy Micro?

Well, seems like it was not too commercial because this is the first time I hear about that console. I have used several gameboys, but that one was out of my list, I will do some research on it and see what it is about, thank you for sharing the information.

It was introduced along DS at E3 2004 and Nintendo that E3 made a lot of news they blew the roof off E3 and advertised Micro on TV. I think they only advertised with this ad tho I don't remember any others while DS had the whole series of Touching is good ads.

I said in the post above yours. It launched alongside DS in 2004 and DS played GBA games and DS games for only 50 bucks more. Nintendo did it as a fallback in case DS failed. Once they realized DS was a smashing success they quietly killed GBA line.

That explains it, thanks, they didn't want the GBA to cannibalize the DS sales. Wise move.
