Nintendo 64 Did the N64 age well?

visually...far from it. Visually the system has aged like week old vomit. Where Dreamcast,Xbox or Gamecube (not so much PS2) a lot of those games look great in HD. Outside of Mischief Makers nothing on N64 can scale that great.

Paper Mario is still a great game, but yeah any game that attempted more realistic graphics just look outdated.

Ocarina of time 3D and Majora's Mask 3D for the 3DS are pretty good remakes that dramatically improve the graphics.

I personally think that the console managed to fit people's need back then when it first got release and it also was trendy, I had one of those back then and it really worked pretty well, the games were really good and everything was adapted to the gaming world from those times.
