NSMB vs NSMB Wii vs NSMB 2 vs NSMB U

Now that the New Super Mario Bros. series has graced 4 different Nintendo platforms, what is your favorite NSMB game?

I personally really enjoyed New Super Mario Bros. Wii, but the impact of the first New Super Mario Bros. on the DS will never be matched. It was amazingly refreshing and breathed a lot of life into the Mario franchise by taking the gameplay back to 2D!

I love both the original DS game and the Wii sequel. Really need to try the NSMB2 on the 3DS!

So far New Super Mario Bros. DS is my favorite, but I've only played NSMB, NSMB Wii, and NSMB 2, so I can't say anything about the Wii U version. Getting it very soon though.

NSMBU is the best one by far, the overworld is continuos, the levels are interesting and challenging, and the graphics are amazing. It definately gets the number one spot for me
