so my switch will not charge with the original charger after playing till flat. can anyone help please

Try using a different charger. The nintendo switch uses a type - c charger so any type - c can charge your nintendo switch. I hope this helped!

Try to buy a specific nintendo switch charger though, you will not be able to play in dock mode. There must've been something wrong with your old one.
