Since I'm on a roll with threads about game controllers lol, I want to express my respect for the following controller made for the Nintendo 64 by an excellent Japanese company HORI.
The controller is simple but very cool and comfortable to hold. HORI moved the analog stick to the left to make things symmetric when you play analog-controlled games (and asymmetric when playing D-pad games), which, if you remember, is the opposite of how the original N64 worked. Since most N64 games took advantage of analog controls, the Mini Pad is very appropriate for the system. I think it's useless for D-pad games unless you have very tiny hands, but it worked very very well for Super Smash Bros.
