In retrospect, Mario seems far too accepting of the Mushroom Kingdom when he first encountered it in the classic Super Mario Bros.

This hilarious Animation Domination HD cartoon suggests how a blue-collar plumber from Brooklyn might actually react upon finding himself in such a bizarre, surreal setting!

Full disclosure, this Mario does a couple of things that I wish I could have done as Mario in Super Mario Bros! Like punting a goomba and telling off Toad!

Definitely wish I could tell off Toad sometimes! Heck, there have been a few times when I've wanted punt Toad, too! lol

You can tell that the North American version of Super Mario Bros 2 (the one that's really a character swapped port of Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic) is just a dream, because Toad is actually being helpful in it!

As opposed to the first Super Mario Bros game, where Toad repeatedly flips Mario the double bird!
